Relaunching Redwood Creek Wine
To re-launch the Redwood Creek (RWC) wine brand as the wine that captures the adventurous spirit of California, Hunter PR recommended that RWC partner with The Explorers Club to articulate the brand’s adventurous personality. Redwood Creek Wines became a sponsor of the non-profit’s weekly public exploration series and announced an exciting new series of events called “A Taste of Adventure.” During this national series of eight events, attendees had the unique opportunity to discover some of America’s most adventurous foods, such as Scorpions with Endive and Herb Cheese and Rosemary Rattlesnake, paired with RWC wines. Following the tastings, renowned explorers shared their remarkable tales of exploration. The unusual food pairings helped break through the clutter on the desks of national wine, lifestyle and outdoor press, as well as local media. The program generated more than 72 MM impressions, including coverage in the Associated Press, Travel + Leisure and Business Week.
